The red is pretty striking here. I find the background clouds impressive but also funny, because they sorta look like a nuclear mushroom to me.
I slightly darkened the image. There was also a halo at the horizon, most likely from upping the clarity in processing (Pet Peeve #3), though a part of it may be from actual mist. So I didn't outright remove it, but made it more discreet instead.
More Craig Sweetman, and another meadow (possibly even the same one? I told you he likes to squeeze water from rock...). This one has a different atmosphere, muted and dark. Very relaxing and pretty.
I removed some clarity-related halos around the trees, otherwise I think Mr. Sweetman's color control is great.
Another one by Craig Sweetman, and this one is a good example of why I like his photos. It's just a simple meadow, but the lighting and the atmosphere are so nice that they really draw you in. Light, airy, beautiful colors.
I did absolutely nothing to this. Well, except remove the signature, because I don't want distracting elements on the wallpaper. Sorry about that, but I try to make up by giving full credit in all the posts, and all the files have credit in the filename.
