So, a bunch of trees is called a copse. Who knew.
And here we have a beautiful copse in front of some impressive clouds, on top of some gentle hills. It's all so very English.
I darkened the image a bit, and brought out more detail from the clouds.

A different take on this by a different photographer, and in a different season - the trees have leaves now. Still dramatic.
I reframed the photo to focus on the trees, brought back some color so that everything isn't just yellow, removed a shadow that I didn't like from the clouds, and - this was the most difficult part - got rid of the flare from the sun.

...as much as I like to complain about it. Admittedly, there is a hint of other colors there, but it's all tinted green.
The only thing I did was dial-in the blacks.

Yeah, I know I'm overdoing it with the puns. Sorry about that.
This is just so calming.
Only pushed the blacks and the saturation a little so it works better as a wallpaper. And cleaned some sharpness related white edges.

It's so windy there that the trees are permanently bent. Wonderful atmosphere and colors. This is the kind of Magic Hour lighting that I like.
I removed some halos, darkened and sharpened the image a bit.
