Never seen an eclipse I didn't like. Also, the circular clouds are impressive.

I darkened the whole thing to emphasize the eclipse, moved the eclipse itself to a more pleasing position composition-wise, and removed some foreground branches that were a distraction.

Nice simple composition. I like the warmth and the colors.

So I made them richer. As a bonus, that also brought out the purplish-blues of the Belt of Venus behind the mountains.

A detail of the Tufas at Mono Lake. The sky is what sells the photo, as far as I am concerned.

Everybody likes the Magic Hour lighting, and I am no exception, but I think it looks better in motion (like in movies), in photos it looks too monochrome for my tastes. So I eased it up a bit and brought back some color on the Tufas.

It's a lake. In a crater. A... crater lake. I like the cool atmosphere.

I brought some color back in, because it was too obviously colorized. Still mostly blue, but there are some cyans now (the lake isn't the same monochrome as the clouds), and some warmer colors. Also, ditched the vignette.
